Nepal Bank Limited, the first commercial bank in Nepal, has announced a vacancy for multiple positions. The bank invites applications from eligible Nepali citizens for permanent recruitment through an open competition. The recruitment process has been approved by the Public Service Commission, and the vacant positions align with the approved staff positions for the fiscal year 2081/82.

• Nepali citizenship certificate

• Academic transcripts and character certificate

• Equivalency certificate (for foreign degrees)

The application deadline is 2082/01/04. A late submission can be made until 2082/01/11 upon payment of a double fee. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will be disqualified.

Selection Process

1. Written Examination: To be conducted by the Public Service Commission.

2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for an interview.

3. Practical Test: Required for the Junior Assistant (Gold Tester) position.

Examination Fees

Fees can be paid through Nepal Bank Mobile Banking, ConnectIPS, eSewa, FonePay, or Khalti. Applicants must ensure their application status is marked as “Payment Successful” and “Submitted” before the deadline.

Special Instructions for Inclusive Category Applicants

Applicants in the inclusive category must submit the following relevant certificates:

• Adivasi/Janajati: Certificate from the National Foundation for the Development of Indigenous Nationalities.

• Madhesi: Certification from a government-approved institution.

• Dalit: Certification from the National Dalit Commission.

• Persons with Disabilities: Disability identity card or medical certificate.

• Backward Areas: Proof of citizenship and residency from designated districts (Achham, Kalikot, Jajarkot, etc.).

Job Posting & Service Conditions

• Selected candidates will be assigned to any branch of the bank.

• Minimum service period:

  • Group Ka and Kha: 3 years

  • Group Ga: 4 years

  • Group Gha and Nga: 5 years

• Preferences for posting among Assistants and Junior Assistants will be based on merit rankings after the written exam.
